Basement Tape 2014 : Tat, Ben, Put and Ki

Basement Tape

Basement Tape are Bangkok-based rock band who bring something different to Thai music scene.

They formed in late 2008 with members of Bangkok punk band The Darlings, Sydney rockers The Section.

Basement Tape’s original music combines 60’s style rock radio melodies with 90’s underground indie pop. They like to use lo-fi recording techniques to capture the raw spirit of the music.

Since forming, Basement Tape have released a mini album called ‘Hey You!’ with indie label Panda Records and a self-titled, full-length album with Thai label SpicyDisc.

They have also played exciting and unpredictable live shows at numerous festivals, bars, art galleries, cafes and parties in Bangkok and other provinces around Thailand.

Basement Tape have also supported top indie international acts Whitest Boy Alive and Tahiti 80 in Bangkok.

Their second album “Two” was released in 2014
