U-Krist Sirichana and
Darunee 'Janjan' Suepongsa
Aerolips are Bangkok-based synth-pop duo formed in 2009 by U-Krist Sirichana (producer of Bangkok's beloved dream-pop band "Slow Reverse") and Darunee 'Janjan' Suepongsa.
They first appeared on 2011 Kitsch Cat #2 compilation, with their first single "Make Believe" which receive many positive reviews from critics and fans. The single has reached high position on many radio station, including #2 on FAT Radio.
Bangkok Post published a review of the compilation on February 12, 2012 : "The album's brightest moments lie in the tracks by the label's newcomers such as the homegrown Aerolips."
After their first single, they have been recording and performing live concert in many music festival in Thailand. They released a mini album in 2012 with a collaboration from Thailand's famous graphic designer "MAMAFAKA" and electronic music pioneer "Cyndi Seui".
Their debut album, "Control", was released in November 2013. Their songs has beautiful melodies with breathy vocals similar to U-Krist's previous works on "Slow Reverse" but with a more upbeat and energetic vibe.
Their influences was mainly from the 80's disco, synth pop, new wave period combine with contemporary minimal arrangement.
Apart from their Aerolips project, U-Krist is a songwriter, producer and co-founder at Colorcode records and Janjan is an illustrator and a fashion model.
